Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Great video. We've been there. Not only did we not know the sex of our twins, we also didn't tell anyone our long list or short list of names. So no one knew anything except that my belly was really, really big...although other people said it was really, really small...

    Happy answering questions...

  2. Thanks! Yeah, I know most people want to find out the sexes these days and I certainly understand why. Most people respect our choice, but some people have been a little weird, like the friend of my mother in law who told her to take an ultrasound photo we had emailed her to an expert who could analyze it and find out the sexes. Thankfully my mother in law said "If my daughter doesn't want to know the sexes, I don't either!" I really don't get the logic there.

  3. Oh, and we're also being private about our name choices. We don't want people to tell us how much they hate a name we've chosen before the kids are born. Once the kids are born we assume they will classy enough to say nothing, even if they hate the names.

  4. I used to make up names and laugh when people would try to tell me that they were bad. It was hard to keep a straight face, but then again the names were things like Dwixelpop and Popscreamer.

Silly, but like you I didn't want to listen to their likes/dislikes for a name. Wasn't their choice.

  5. But you know, my brother didn't tell people names for the same reason, and he wound up with Luna Danger and Mars Spike. He probably could've done with a little criticism when there was still time.
